Today, we are going to look at Luke 20:27-40 where we see Jesus’s authority is being challenged again but this time his challengers are using their Bible, Moses’ teaching. They quote Moses and ask Jesus what he thinks so it really becomes a message about the clarity of God’s Word. There are many different teachings and denominations and divisions among people who claim to believe the Bible. Does that ever discourage you? Well I hope to encourage you today with the doctrine of the Clarity of God’s Word - God’s Word is clear enough for us to learn everything we need for salvation and godliness. It takes work and training and skill but Everything a willing heart needs for salvation and a life of godliness are very clearly set forth in Scripture able to be understood but it does take some effort.
